Builditplace! Kid friendly Stay, Play and Create!

  • Welcome to Builditplace, a family getaway that celebrates the endless possibility and creativity of brick building. Come retreat to our cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath home and rest from the stress of the grown- up world by letting your imagination take shape one brick at a time. Take inspiration from our sets, scenes, and idea books; and embrace the spirit of play by diving into our bins of loose bricks to create your own masterpiece. We have bricks of varying sizes to accommodate kids of all ages, but play (and step) at your own risk.
    When play has you worn out, our 2 bedrooms comfortably sleep 5 guests. Building is encouraged in the bunk room, but the master should remain a sanctuary from those loose pieces looking for the unsuspecting foot.
    We hope you’ll come play well, sleep well, and stay well at Builditplace!

Property was clean, rooms were a good size. Decor was completed Lego’s which we thought was very original. Plus plenty building blocks for the Lego enthusiast to build their own. Parking on site was a plus.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Builditplace! The LEGO-themed design is very unique, creative, and especially fun for families with children. The neighborhood also felt safe, quiet, and peaceful. We really appreciated the host’s local restaurant recommendations. Uncle Tito’s and Sunrise Social were both excellent choices and made our stay even more enjoyable. A couple of things to keep in mind: the property provides bar soaps but not shower gel or shampoo, so guests may want to bring their own toiletries. We would also recommend bringing your own drinking water. Overall, this is a fun, family-friendly place with a distinctive theme in a nice neighborhood. We would be happy to stay here again.

Really great stay. Kids loved the legos and property was as described. Clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Five stars.

Small kids visiting nephew for birthday

Our stay was short but enjoyable. The littles loved the legos and the place was comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay again when coming to visit cousins.

Great find!

This home was clean and comfortable and the perfect stop on our trip! It was a rainy morning the day we were there and we got to sleep in while the kids played legos!

We had a great stay. The house was cute and clean. The house had everything we needed. The teenager enjoyed all of the lego builds. We were visiting family so we plan to stay again!

Family friendly duplex, just as listed! Owners are very responsive to any needs. Chinckens were a nice bonus, but beware the rooster. Well lit area right off the main drags, but not terribly busy. Small front and back patio to relax in the sun as well.

This property was the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at! Location perfect we stayed for five days for football tournament at the Hall of Fame! Property was convenient. It was helpful to have washer and dryer to wash the boys uniform.Highly recommend!!!

Hall of Fame

Came with a toddler for the NFL Hall of Fame, was easy to get to and from. Chickens were a fun bonus. Loved all the toys and decor.

Perfect little house

This was a perfect house for us to stay while in town for a family wedding. The house was very clean snd had everything we needed. All the legos were a big hit with my 2 year old but the chicken in the backyard were a great surprise! He really enjoyed watching them. The owners were very accommodating to our needs. Will definitely stay here again if we are in Akron.

The house had all we needed and was a nice place to stay... and FULL of LOTS of Legos! My kids were in heaven. I was blown away at how much Legos was tied into everything around the house

A great time!

My family loved this little get away! It was very clean and comfortable. Everyone slept great. As a mom of 2 year olds, I appreciated the motherly touches (I.e toddler toilet seats, small tables, flat bed). The legos were a big hit!! We call it the Legoland house. Thanks Jason & Katie!
