The apartment itself was dated and starting to fall apart. The lights were out in a bedroom and lounge and dining room so first night there was very dim, the heater provided for the dowsing bedroom was broken and very unsafe looking also that bedroom is freezing! So one heater for the three stories in the apartment was a bit sparse! There is a sign saying if you don’t was your dishes a $25 fee will be applied but the dish brush supplied was full of hair and when i asked for a new one the replacement one was also full of hair. Close to restaurants was a plus.

This property listed that it had ceiling fans and heating. There was none. It was a 33degree weekend and we could not sleep nor even relax in the rooms at all, we ended up having to spend all our time at a local cafe as it was cooler outside than in. The owners did not care when we requested a fan of some sort. I also paid for a 3 bedroom apartment and only received a 2 bedroom apartment. Do not book here in summer. Do not recommend.

We have never slept in a converted single garage with the garage door still attached. Minimal natural light. No cover on the duvet. No oven and hob as advert stated. Not an entre apartment as the advert stated. Photos of building, are not the building that was booked. Misleading advert description. The manager didn't handle our complaint with grace and lost his temper. Poor comments in guest book similar to our experience.

Close proximity to the wharf and main waterfront restaurants and stores. Plenty of room for a medium sized family. Adequate kitchen facilities. Easy free parking. Great hosts.

Tidy modern apartment. Only downside was the noisy area - several noisy parties in the complex the night we were there.

Les Troupes Apartments was a great place to stay. Great location with everything within walking distance. The kitchen was excellent with plenty of utensils so self catering was very easy.

Great place to stay

This place is close to the shops and restaurants half a block away so ideal to stay, has a built in garage and the lounge and kitchen are on one floor with the bedrooms on the top floor

Akaroa

Great stay in a great location. Accomadation was not value for money. Really expensive for the standard it was. The lights were not working in the dinning and lounge area. The bathroom was not to a standard one would expect in that type of accomadation.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a family of four and it was perfect for us. Close to restaurants, shops, and the ocean. It was a very nice break away.

Centrally located apartment.

This was a comfortable apartment close to town. Very small balconies though and no sea views so if you want some private space outside I would look elsewear as there is really only communal space outside the apartment. It was good to have a garage and internal access to the apartment. Just watch the extra guest charge, even though we had rented a 3 bedroom apartment apparently the price was only for 2 people so we had to pay an extra $30 a night for our third guest.
