Excellent
This worked very well for me. Great location, just a few steps from the end of the Cours Mirabeau. Lots of useful and interesting shops and restos nearby. Wonderful boulangerie around the corner. The Thursday markets are almost on your doorstep, and the location makes it easy to explore the old city in all directions. The apartment was very clean with good towels, linens, and supplies. Some reviewers were concerned about street noise but that was not my experience. The street is very quiet (the only business nearby is a few doors down, and it's a lawyers' office -- not much partying there!). I didn't use the kitchen much, but it seems well-equipped. The apartment is on the main floor (street level). This means no stairs to climb, but also that when you open the shutters and curtains, there is zero privacy (or, on the other hand, you get a perfect view of the street and the passersby). A tip: the hot water is extremely hot! A middle setting in the shower was plenty hot enough for me -- an accidental nudge of the adjusting knob could scald, so be careful (I'd suggest the owners set the temperature back a bit, for safety and economy!). Information from the owners was timely and complete, with easy to follow instructions for accessing the building and the unit itself.Highly recommended!
