The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, microwave and fridge. There is also an outdoor dining setting where you can relax and enjoy the cool ocean breezes, pre dinner drinks and alfresco dining.

You will enjoy the comfort of a a queen size bed in the master and 2 x singles in the second bedroom.

"What A View 2 bedroom apartment" is part of the Searene apartments and has an infinity edge pool with a spa that is positioned to take in the most amazing views of the Coral Sea and Hayman Island. This is a great designed complex that is sure to leave a lasting impression on your family and friends.

This is a dual key property, so you also have the option to book the 1 bedroom studio apartment next door if you have friends or family that would like to join you.

The apartment is fully air conditioned, has free unlimited Wi-Fi, a washing machine and clothes dryer and an elevator that takes you up to your apartment floor. There is also 1 secure undercover car space.

Please note our properties are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundries. Linen & bath/pool towels are supplied with beds made up, along with a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, milk, and detergents, etc (to get you through your first night).

Incredible spot with views to die for. Steep hill to get up and down to town but cabs are cheap if you are in a group. Property Manager - whitsunday Holiday Rentals were wonderful to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Loved our time here and will be back 💜🍹

Loved the apartment but didn’t like the bed or the pillows. For the price we expected a more comfy bed and better pillows. We didn’t sleep well as a result. The couch isn’t really comfy either. The rest of the place was great. Huge outdoor area covered and uncovered. Awesome views. Good kitchen and bbq . Only thing stopping us from booking this place again is the comfort of the bed and the sofa.

What we loved about 5B ‘what a view’ apartment 2 bedroom: The view is exactly as shown in photos. It is beautiful, the blue sea changes throughout the day and it truly amazing. This is a lovely, light and airy apartment. The outside space is huge and so is the BBQ. This apartment gets sun on the balcony area till around 1pm (July) whereas some other apartments in the block are in shade. The furniture is lovely and comfortable. The TV is very large. The photos provided are accurate. Overall we had a good stay and would give it 4.5 stars if we could. What could be better: The bathroom is very old and tired. The sink and bath have cracks and scratches and it is not modern as you would expect in an apartment of this quality. It really lets the apartment down, functionally it works with a powerful shower but it really needs updating. It has 3 doors in, one from main bedroom, two from hall, so you can effectively use toilet if someone in shower, but locking three doors and remembering to unlock them again a bit of a pain. Photos they have provided are accurate but it is close up you see the age of the facilities. The kitchen is fine but again doors look worn and some don’t shut properly. The apartment is for 4 people but they are only 2 sun loungers which is strange given the amount of outdoor space. The Wi-Fi is very slow, I gave up and used my mobile data. Also just be aware that when you arrive, unlike other apartments here, they do not have a key box. You have to go to a completely different address 10 minutes walk away. This is down a very steep hill, so you need to go to collect key and then walk up the hill to the apartment. This means one of your party has to wait with luggage whilst someone else gets the key, you cannot access the lobby of the property so they are waiting in the car park without seating. This is quite a workout after a day travelling. The company seem to assume people have cars but we did not. Never had this issue before at other properties, either keys in lockbox or representative meets you. We only found out key in a different place two days before travel after we had booked airport bus to apartment. Again not a big issue but good to know. Overall, the property is amazing and if the bathroom was better it would be outstanding.

This apartment has an amazing view over Airlie Harbour and the Whitsunday Sailing School. It had an adjoining room which we did not make use of, but our laundry facilities were located in the shared entrance. So we shared laundry and entrance way with the residents of the adjoining apartment - something that some people may not like. There was plenty of fresh air and light from the many windows and doors that open up to the very wide and spacious balcony that wraps all the way around the front and side of the apartment. The front part of the balcony is covered and had plenty of outdoor seating options - lounges and dining tables. There were also two beach lounges under a collapsible umbrella in the side area. A large BBQ was also provided, which makes it a great place to relax and enjoy the view of Airlie. We especially liked being so close to the forested hills behind Airlie. The facilities were all quite new, and the lounges very clean. The only thing we would say is that if you enjoy watching TV, the large (only) smart TV in the lounge area did not work for us. The apartment had wifi, but perhaps the speeds could not keep up with the TV, as every 5 minutes at least the TV would stop and have to refresh itself. We spoke to the manager about it who did not seem to be aware of it, and she was very apologetic and sympathetic, so hopefully they will address this for future guests. Otherwise lovely place to stay!!!
