"Wonderful staff, nice room (a bit noisy from neighbours though), excellent breakfast. The proximity to the Charante river was amazing, but the area was also a bit rough. I also very kind support from the lady in the reception when I had an accident. So all-in-all a great place to stay!"

The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. "Big rooms, one with toilet and sink, the other with shower and sink, very clean, comfortable, and quite, stairs only, 3-7 minute walk to coffee, food, shopping, 10-15 minute walk from train station, uphill. I will definitely stay here again!!!"
