"We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

"To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. "The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns.
