The pool is ideal for small kids with a clever ladder which means when you don’t want them to get in you can remove the ladder. "We spent a week at this lovely holiday home. It's comprised of 2 2-bedroomed cottages attached to each other but with separate kitchen and bathroom facilities. "We are in our 60’s so was looking for a relaxing and quiet holiday, which we got especially with the swimming pool but unfortunately the weather was not great, which no one can control. It is comfortable but it was only the 2 of us. Chantal is very helpful and friendly and everything you need for your stay. Although her house is opposite the cottage she gives you your privacy. "

"We loved our stay at Fonclaire. The tent was well equipped, the facilities always clean and tidy. The play park and pool were perfect. And the site attracts others like us so the kids all played together in the middle of the field. It was really lovely and we will be back! "

"We had a lovely stay here. Hosts very welcoming and helpful with information about the area. Lovely big room and ensuite overlooking the river. Comfortable bed and the room had a fan! The only stay of 4 that did provide a fan in the room which was a godsend in the heat that weekend. Really nice breakfast, fresh fruit salad, the greek yogurts were delicious, croissants, bread, cereals, jams, honey, my husband particularly liked the butter, ham, cheese, all very enjoyable. We hadn't intended to stay out late but the music festival was on, which was brilliant, but dark on walk home as no street lighting. Just make sure you have phone battery for torch to walk back late. This is not a negative, just a tip, because the place is lovely to stay over where it is situated on the river. "
