This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. The property failed to provide basic amenities, and the staff behavior was completely unacceptable. You will encounter men women and children panhandling. At least in my part of town. They are not aggressive. At the same time, the city is going through exciting change and growth. I will be back, I enjoyed the culture and food.

Addis Ababa has a lot of work to do to make this city a real tourist attraction. I think big improvements in the physical and social environment are needed.
Connectivity in Addis (both mobile phones and internet) is always challenging. The hotel has good internet connectivity though!
I love Addis - lots to see and do, and good food and coffee.
