Upon entering the bothy you go straight into the open plan living space, which has the living/bedroom area, dining area and kitchen area. This light and spacious room has fabulous views out over the bay to surrounding hills and mountains. There is also a shower room too. Outside there is parking for two cars, and the garden is shared with Lily Lodge, however guests staying at Mango Pony’s Bothy can enjoy their own private patio and seating area to soak up one of Scotland’s best views.
Driving to Diabaig on the west coast of Scotland is one of lifes joys. From whichever direction you are coming from you will have mountains, forests and lochs galore to feast your eyes on. The Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve on the southern shores of Loch Maree is within easy reach. Beyond Torridon and Loch Maree you have Gairloch to the north with its lovely neighbouring villages, and to the south there is the amazing Applecross Peninsula and world-famous Isle of Skye.
