"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. "Ok the property was very attractive .. in perfect location, beautiful garden setting, attractive and smart kitchen, traditional furnishings, and yes the Anta rugs and nice bedding etc. well done. However we found the lounges a bit on the formal side for relaxation, and would benefit from better lighting for reading. Upstairs was cramped and we have a few bumps on the head from altercations with the low roof. All very steeped in character, but definitely not a relaxing break for us I’m afraid…...
