Staff was particularly helpful. I was stuck in traffic and missed the scheduled airport shuttle. The manager immediately and generously sent us on a second shuttle. Breakfast was delicious, varied from day to day.

The rooms are a little out dated and run down, but everything works just fine. Actually for Ghanaian standards it is very impressive. The staff are the best part of this hotel. Friday and Saturday there is loud evening music on the upper floors so do request a quiet room if you need this.

Positiv: gentillesse du personnel, bonne cuisine même si les options viande / poisson ne correspondent pas aux habitudes européennes, changement facile de la chambre après plainte. Hygiène: j'ai mangé des fruits chaque matin et je n'étais pas malade. Negativ: 3 jours /4 pas d'eau chaude dans la douche, les toilettes ne fonctionnent pas très bien. Accroche pour la douche manquante dans la deuxième chambre (changement avec promesse de l'eau chaude, non-tenue).

I loved the staff. They were extremely attentive. I loved the pool and lastly I loved the location. It was right outside of the city. Close enough to get to everything but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city to relax.

Noisy hotel

Mensvic hotel is not an idea hotel for a relaxation. My room AC was not functioning well, I requested for another room and still had the same problem so checked out the next day to another hotel. I was there on a weekend and the place was crowded due to an event that was going on with loud music.

good location, overpriced

Hotel met basic needs of comfort but was incredibly overpriced, considering what was offered. Mattress was a thin foam piece and the wifi didn't seem to work anywhere in the hotel (which should be expected for a hotel of this price). The room was very poorly lit as well. I would not advise staying here if you have other options nearby.

Nice hotel close to airport

Prompt free airport shuttle service only 10 min from the airport. Rooms were spacious with tv, ac, big bed, couches, and very warm water to bathe. Many options for complimentary breakfast and very large and nice pool accessible to all. Overall a hidden gem in East Legon.

The room was okay, but the bathroom looked old and worn out. I did have a problem getting hot water toward the end of my stay. The restaurant food was excellent, but the service was slow. Everyone was very friendly. As other reviewers have commented, the WiFi was not ideal.

Great value for the money

You know what...this was my first trip to Africa and I have to say that I really enjoyed the Mensvic. And I travel a lot. Now its not a Westin, but its relatively new and, the service and people are fantastic, and I will likely stay there on my next trip. For the money, I really liked it. Food was really good. Felt very secure. Great value for the money. Thank you Mensvic!! You made me feel welcome.

Good for a conference

I was at Mensvic for a conference (also at the same hotel) and had a nice stay. No hot water in the shower, but that wasn't too big of a deal given the heat. AC worked worked well in the room. Hotel staff was great.

Nice pool

The hotel is reasonably clean, the AC works ok and the service is good. Sleep quality is not bad as long as you avoid rooms on the street side. I spent one night on that side, it was very noisy. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The hotel is very close to the airport, which means it is a little bit far from city center. There is nothing exciting about the surrounding. There are a couple of restaurants near buy.

Prima hotel, lekker zwembad

Het Mensvic is een prima hotel, met in het algemeen vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was goed, met een goede airco. Het zwembad was erg lekker, en fijn om daar in de buurt te kunnen werken met veel aanwezige stopcontacten en redelijke wifi. Bestellingen (eten, drankjes) gaan niet echt vlot, maar als je geen haast hebt hoeft dat geen probleem te zijn.

Wonderful Staff, and Spacious Rooms

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and a really large pool. All the staff are kind and helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean, and the beds excellent, with nice balconies overlooking the pool. It is a great place to stay. The only shortcoming was the buffet breakfast, which was never very good - no sliced meat and cheese, no fresh baked pastry, or cooked to order omelets, and the coffee is quite poor (not European/American quality. Overall however, I would highly recommend everything about this hotel. For the buffet breakfast they need to completely change the chef, and get a European or North American kitchen manager to teach them how to do a proper buffet, and how to make good coffee.

Good stay if you have business in Legon

I spent four nights at Mensvic for business purposes. The hotel has decent standard, even though it seems to be a few decades old. Pool area is nice, restaurant is good. Service at the reception is good with friendly staff. The location East Legon is good if you have meetings in these parts of Accra (eg University of Ghana)- it will save you a lot of travel time if you manage to avoid the downtown traffic. Drive to airport takes about 15-30 mins depending on traffic. Wifi is good around the pool area, but did not work in my room.

Very good stay with kind staff and food also was good . Wifi connection is really good and fast and water very good pressure. As my flight was schedule at 22:30hrs The duty Manager allowed me to keep the room until 6 pm on check out date . A Big thanks . Will surely book this hotel again .
