Welcome to the Redbud area of Abilene, Texas! This charming vacation rental is the perfect home away from home for your next getaway. This house is conveniently located close to many prominent locations: close to Target, Walmart, Wysteria Place, the Abilene Mall, and many restaurants. 12 minutes from ACU, 5 minutes from McMurry University, 12 minutes from Hardin-Simmons University, 4 minutes from Target, 10 minutes from historic downtown Abilene.

In town for marriage event

Wonderful retreat for small family. Clean, cute, well equipped for meals, entertainment "base camp" at affordable rate. Host was easy to contact but no need, all was laid out and comfy.

Perfect little house

We enjoyed our stay at your house this past weekend. Even though we weren’t at it for much time other than sleeping, it is a cute, cozy and clean home. Great and convenient location too!!

A great house, adequate heat and perfect "home base" for our quick weekend trip. The house is clean and I really appreciated that they left the lights on for our late arrival. Access and communication was flawless and we were very centrally located to everything we needed!

Amazing place

This house was absolutely one of the best houses I’ve stayed in! So clean, beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was so easy to get ahold of the owner with any questions we had. I would recommend this place to anyone and will probably come back next time I’m in town!

Quiet neighborhood

Home is definitely in an older part of Abilene, but we felt very safe in the home. Everything appeared to have been updated recently and was available for our use. Clean, quiet and convenient. Host very responsive to any concerns or questions.

Everything you expected

Everything was in its place. The kitchen was fully stocked…lots of Coffee👏. The beds were comfy. The bathroom had all you needed, even a curling iron. Great central location. Fantastic local food can be enjoyed at Authentic Mexican Food. (325)672-2144…lots of locals.

Perfect spot for a quick stay!

This is exactly as advertised, a peaceful retreat in Abilene. The neighborhood was quiet but so close to every place we needed to get. The house was clean and spacious with lots of accommodations! The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet. The living area was spacious and comfortable even for a night of dinner in and a movie. We did have need to contact the property owners with an issue at a late hour. They were quick to respond which we appreciated. We loved how relaxing our stay was and will be looking at this property again for future stays.

Perfect for our Christmas visit

We were visiting family for Christmas and just needed a place to crash at night. We didn’t use the kitchen and weren’t there much, so I can’t really address how well stocked it was. But the house worked great for our needs. There was a nice amount of comfortable, uncluttered space and the beds were comfortable. Very short shower head was the only downside. But this was still cheaper and infinitely better than staying in a hotel! Very responsive host too.

Clean and Quiet

House was cute and clean. Neighborhood was very quiet and had no issues. The house is located off a busy residential street and thought we might have issues with traffic noise, but we didn't. This property is close to a lot of shops and restaurants! Communication with the property manager was swift. We were a little frustrated that the air conditioning did not work very well in the back of the house. We were thankful for the ceiling fan in the bedroom. We did not reach out to the property owner about this issue, just figured it was because of the age of the house. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and would book this property again.

Stay for our brother’s wedding

The communication with the host was speedy. Everytime I reached out he messaged me back quickly. I was concerned about the check in process(this is our first vrbo that we booked ourselves.) I’m very familiar with Abilene and although the house was on a busy street it was quiet except for the dog next door. Luckily, it wasn’t barking at night.Sofas, beds were super comfy, and everything was super clean. The kitchen is well stocked and clean ready to cook. Towels were nice and fluffy. The only two things that needed some work was the tub doesn’t drain properly and the front and back yard needed to be mowed. The backyard is huge so if it hadn’t been for the rain we could’ve kick it back there. It’s been raining there so I’m sure that was the reason it wasn’t mowed. House looks just like the pictures it’s an older home similar to the one we grew up in so it brought back wonderful memories. We will definitely stay here again!!!
