Dear guest,Thank you for your review. We appreciate all reviews as it helps us improve where necessary. Our guesthouse is very quiet, but doesn’t mean you were alone. We actually had 2 other working guests staying with us, but they preferred to rest when they were not working, hence the silence. There’s light switch at the main entrance and am sorry you missed that. We usually leave the lights on, but it happens that one of the guests will switch it off. Dear Nigel, We are glad you had a good stay with us. You did book a room on discounted offer, that’s why you got a smaller room. Please inquire about our bigger rooms next time you book and we will surely upgrade you , if it’s available.Guests rarely get to see us, as we prefer to give them their space and quiet.Every guest that checks in is aware that if they need us, they only have to ring us and we will be there. We usually come to the guesthouse first thing in the morning( but most guests will still be asleep), or during check ins of other guests. And then ofcourse, you might have been out and didn’t get to see us, so sorry about that.Also guests who book breakfast with us, get to see us every morning. So you might want to try out our lovely breakfast’ next time so we get more time to interact with you.Our main aim is to usually respect guest’s privacy as we are aware that some of them come for a relaxed break. About the shower gel, we don’t provide any, but always have some stored aware if a guest asks. But I will be happy to let you know, that it’s something new that we are working on providing in future in all our rooms. We are glad you enjoyed your stay, and respected our property.
