"We had a nice week for RC slope flying in the region. The cottage is well equipped for all needs and for cooking for ourselves. A couple shops are close by. "It was charming, close to the castle and local eateries. The hosts had a great book with detailed descriptions and explanations about the home. I would highly recommend to those who want to visit Caerphilly. "

A few issues - a broken toilet seat which would have been obvious to the cleaner before we came, so not sure how long it's been broken, a very wobbly broken tap in the bathroom too. No bin bags in the bins, and the bathroom bin had no insert so the rubbish would have just gone on the floor, so again cleaner issues presumably. "Property had lovely views, well appointed with everything we needed. Bike storage was a bonus as we were a group of cyclists "

"Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails."
