Our first stay at Helnan Marselis Hotel and we loved it! My sister stayed here twice and recommended it to us, and she was right. Stunning sea views, direct beach access, and a spacious room with comfy beds and a balcony overlooking the water. A delicious breakfast with plenty of fresh options and relaxing wellness facilities. Great location - walking distance to the Infinite Bridge, Marselisborg Castle and Deer Park, and just 10 minutes by bus to Aarhus city centre. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. We’ll definitely be back! 🌊❤️

Location was brilliant by the sea. But the hotel had seen its better days long ago. Rooms, floors, carpets, corridors were dirty and disgusting. Its a pity, cause the location is marvellous. Also staff was unfriendly since the first reception communication to restautants.

Leider kann ich dieses Hotel absolut nicht empfehlen. Der Service war wirklich katastrophal. Beim Frühstück wurden die Tische nicht gesäubert, und das Personal hat sich nur sehr halbherzig um die Gäste gekümmert. Schon beim Empfang an der Rezeption wurde man unfreundlich begrüßt – unvorstellbar, wie wenig Wert hier auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Die Zimmer waren alles andere als sauber und entsprachen in keiner Weise dem, was man von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde – eher auf dem Niveau eines 2-Sterne-Hauses. Für den Preis eine große Enttäuschung.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick was super war. Das Badezimmer etwas klein. Dadurch, dass es nur einen Duschvorhang gab, was das Bad schnell überflutet, was sich auch bei vorsichtigen duschen nicht vermeiden ließ. Pool und Sauna ok.

Fint hotel til prisen

Morgenmadsbuffeten var god, og udsigten var både dejlig og skøn. Det eneste, jeg var lidt skuffet over, var servicen i receptionen. Ved indtjekning blev der ikke informeret om, hvor morgenmaden blev serveret, eller hvornår den startede. Ved udtjekning manglede der også lidt venlighed – jeg savnede en simpel afsked som “Tak for denne gang”, “Vi håber, I har haft et godt ophold”, eller bare et “Hav en god dag”. I stedet var det blot betaling og spørgsmålet om, hvorvidt jeg ønskede en kvittering – og så ikke mere. Alt i alt et fint hotel, men servicen i receptionen kunne godt trænge til et løft.
