The setting of the hotel in an old large farm house is very special in the modern suburbs of Aalborg. The bus to the Centrum is at the entrance of the property. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna and the pool immensely however the best part of the experience was staff who were attentive, kind and informative. We loved our stay there!

Location was convenient for a stopover after getting off the Hirtshals ferry. Pleasant, up-market hotel with lots of facilties. Well kept. Pros : Friendly staff, easy check in and digital check-out. Modern and spacious room. Toiletries and kettle provided. Cons: during my stay on Saturday night parking was a challenge. There was a function on so all spaces were taken. Ended up parking on the grass at the front of the hotel (which the staff confirmed was OK). Building is old so don't expect the best sound proofing - slamming doors and loud conversations do travel. In summary, excellent value for a high-end stay with some slight compromises. Would stay again.

Property very convenient, close to the city but not in the city. Rooms definitely need entire renovations, carpet too old , smells, patio very nice to have it in some rooms but can’t leave the door open, lots of spiders will get into the room and mosquitoes. Kitchen part very good, perfect breakfast and stuff very attentive.

Incredible service and staff

The hotel is in a beautiful location just outside Aalborg. The staff are professional and provide a beautiful service! My favourite was Louisa in reception (10/10) and the serving staff in the restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and the main hotel plus restaurant are kept in perfect condition. The hotel has a lovely pool, sauna and spa which was wonderful after a busy day to relax in. Free car parking and easy public transport busses.

Over rated and very expensive for the quality

Dirty duvet under an open duvet cover, floor and carpet were uneven and humid (unit k, room 38), except for the bathroom, which has a radiant floor. Old hotel. Make sure to have an upper floor room to avoid moisture problem. As for the staff and the lobby, they were impeccable. Should be more a 2 stars for the standard rooms. 4 stars is largely over rated.

This is not a hotel - On a good day it's a motel

Discounted service all the way through and no cleaning of the room. On Hotels.com it is stated there is daily cleaning of the room which is wrong. The standard is no daily cleaning which should be mentioned on Hotels.com. Even in the junior suite there is no telephone, no minibar and no air condition. The junior suite I stayed in was more than dated. The restaurant is at best average and therefore clearly overpriced. Value for money doesn't makes sense to consider, and no, of course I will not stay in the hotel (motel) again.

Ett väldigt trevligt och fräscht hotell som levde upp till förväntningarna. Vi möttes av god service i receptionen där personalen var både hjälpsam och professionell, vilket gav ett positivt första intryck. Vi bodde i en juniorsvit som var mycket fräsch, rymlig och välplanerad. Det fanns gott om förvaring, särskilt med tanke på den generösa mängden hängare. Frukosten var överlag bra med goda smaker och fräscha råvaror, men vi upplevde den som något enformig under vår vistelse. Det hade varit önskvärt med lite mer variation från dag till dag, exempelvis vad gäller pålägg, varma alternativ eller fruktutbud. Med det sagt höll den ändå en hög grundnivå.

Lidt mørkt værelse - Værelse med terrasse, men ikke meget sollys ind her. Utilstrækkelig ventilation på værelset. Støj fra ventilation foran hovedbygningen. Hotellet har god morgenmad og derfor får det 3 stjerner.

Sjarmerende hotell og fantastisk mat!

Sjarmerende hotell like utenfor sentrum av Aalborg. Deilig frokost (tror det aller meste er laget fra bunn av på hotellet) og hyggelig betjening. Restauranten anbefales varmt - det var høy klasse på maten og god atmosfære. Tips - våre barn (som er litt sære i matveien av og til) valgte forretter fra snacks-menyen👌☺️

Zeer teleurgesteld

Mooi hotel, maar de dienstbaarheid kan vééél beter. De bar verantwoordelijke doet de receptie en loopt ook het restaurant binnen en buiten, zeer lang moeten wachten op drank de eerste avond. Ook wat zoute snacks besteld bij drinken, maar niet gekregen (stond wel op de rekening en laten verwijderen) Eten kon pas om 20u omdat ze volzet waren, terwijl het restaurant nog niet halfvol zat. Kaart enkel in het Deens ontvangen, terwijl ze horen dat we Engelstalig zijn. Wijn besteld na lang wachten (20 min), maar 3x moeten naar vragen, uiteindelijk hadden ze de gevraagde fles niet. Ze probeerden ons een fles aan te smeren die meer dan 2x zo duur was. Na 20 minuten wachten kwamen ze ons ook melden dat de Ribeye die we met 3 besteld hadden, er niet meer was. ER was nog voor één persoon en hun voorstel was om deze in 3 te verdelen (hoofdgerecht!!!). Hebben we gelukkkig niet gedaan. Na 55 minuten ontvingen we onze wijn, na 1 uur wachten kwam ons eten. Mijn Ribeye was zwartgebakken en klein portie (niet in verhouding tot de 60 euro die het gekost heeft). Uit schaamte hebben ze ons nadien gratis koffie en snoep aangeboden. Het ontbijt was mager, spek met eieren beschibkaar, maar koud. Beleg was matig. Brood en pistolets waren ook niet echt van de verwachtte kwaliteit voor een hotel met deze allure. 2de ochtend zaten we al 15 minuten aan tafel zonder koffie, terwijl er constant service langs onze tafel liep. We hebben ze zelf moeten roepen om een pot koffie te krijgen. Fail

Så lækkert hotel/herregård. Vil 100% komme tilbage. Morgenmad var lækker og det var en meget luksus oplevelse med god service fra tjeneren og god mad. Selve hotellet var rent og lækkert, og det var værelse også ude at der var lidt støvet.
