My assistant of also 40 + years lives near Portland and we always get together for dinner at Fore Street... a short walk from the hotel. 「The staff is polite and friendly. Our room was quiet and clean with a lovely view. A market across the street is a delight. Parking for the hotel is in back of where you check in. You can easily pull up to either place and unload then go park the car. The breakfast gives good options. Not a lot of places to sit. Easily would stay here again. 」

「I love staying at this DoubleTree. The location is ideal, the hotel is nice but the best part is the Front Desk Employees. They are welcoming and always helpful. I do appreciate the Shuttle service. They didn't service my room during the 4 days I was there. I put my trash outside, and had to ask for coffee and sugar daily. One time when they delivered the requested coffee they brought me clean towels. I didn't really need daily service, but I did need daily coffee.」
