「A great place for an overnight stay, easy to find, parking on site - and a wonderful breakfast.」

「Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. 「The gentleman on reception was very pleasant but the hotel has seen better days. The lift was out of order so we had to haul our luggage up the stairs. The room was very run down and not very clean. It was disappointing, really.」

「Not at all what I expected … but we loved it ! Staff was amazing and always willing to help. Food was HOT and fresh . Do not hesitate to stay here! Close to motorway … and access is easy. 」

「Abgelegens, etwas spezielles B&B, das aber seinen Reiz hat. 20 Minuten Autofahrt bis Castle Douglas mit Restaurants. Grosse Zimmer. Z.T. etwas ins Alter gekommen. Da Ende Saison, Frühstücksangebot doch etwas eingeschränkt. Insgesamt aber doch ok, wenn auch nicht ganz günstig.」
