「The staff were very helpful and kind. The property was part of a farm so there was an unpleasant smell of manure. The room was small and very hot. It would have been useful to have had a fan in the room.」

「The Parlour: this is a clean, comfortable, very well equipped little place to stay. Do be aware that it is quite remote, reached up several very narrow country roads. We couldn't get any phone signal and the wi-fi doesn't work in or immediately outside the cottage. Kate gave us a warm welcome.」

「The room was clean and well presented in a pretty idyllic location. Quite and not very looked. Local pud was within a 10 minute walk and they served great food. The pud overlooked a river and in the summer months there seating available to be able to sit along side the river. We were provided with tea, coffee and biscuits.
