"The hotel staff was absolutely amazing - very friendly and helpful. Everything was very comfortable and the location in the heart of Plaka could not be beat. Only two tiny issues. 1.) The Nespresso machine in the room had funk at the bottom of the water tank - it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Just check it before making a cup to be sure it's clean. 2.) There are bright green lights coming from a security fixture that could be disruptive to someone's sleep. Lucky for us,...

"The apartment building is in an excellent location - it's really close to Syntagma Square and to Plaka. There are lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment we stayed in was lovely and clean. It had a lovely big balcony where we sat out every morning and evening. Our host Christos was so friendly and helpful."

"We really liked to stay in this hotel . Rooms are large enough , cozy bad , clean and renovated with enough of space for everything. No issues with check in and check out , easy and simple . VIP benefits was recognized and received! Very close to everything, a lot of dining and stores around , walkable to Acropolis . A little of noise from outside ,as area is very busy and touristic , but in general no issues . Definitely recommended to stay !! "

"The Sweet Home Hotel is charming in it's decor, and the staff were all warm and friendly. They each let us know in some way of their commitment to supporting our visit to Athens. Our only little complaint is that our room, though lovely (and bed comfortable) was very small leaving little room to put our suitcases and stuff -- also no comfortable seating (I am finding this a trend in newer boutique hotels)...no place to sit but the bed."

"This little simple hotel is right in the heart of where you want to stay. Best thing about it is the location! Just off a side street making it extremely quiet! You won't hear any noise at night, yet you are two minutes from a main street in the Plaka. Don't expect big rooms, fancy lobby, or luxuries. But you will get a very clean hotel with excellent staff.
