"The location and building itself were great, and the room was clean. Unfortunately, the stay was overshadowed by everything else. The staff was largely unhelpful, the WiFi never worked properly, and even the room phone didn’t work. The bed was also extremely soft and uncomfortable. What really ruined the stay, though, was the construction. We understood there would be some noise, but this was far beyond normal construction inconvenience. The jackhammering was so loud and constant that the room literally shook during the day, making it impossible to relax or even stay in the room. It also continued past the posted hours, which made it even more frustrating. I try to be understanding about things like this, but for the price of a hotel stay, this simply wasn’t reasonable."
