Anderson, the front desk employee, who also claimed to be the owner, wasn’t understanding about the situation and no help in resolving it either. Luckily, I have family in the country familiar with the city of Leticia, they put me in touch with a local travel agent...

Just be prepared for the 100-parrot alarm clock every 6am as they leave the town square and settle in and around the grounds for a while. (It's actually a great thing to be able to see them up close)."
