"Lovely boutique hotel located close to the rural town of Oñati and the Sanctuary of Arantzazu. The hotel is well located both within the Basque countryside but also within walking distance of the town (20 minutes), which affords many bars and restaurants (indeed a disproportionate number for so a small a town - I counted about 20!) I enjoyed the scenery and going on walks in the countryside and there's even the Usako waterfalls a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is well equipped with a restaurant...

"Room was very big and clean. Bed was comfortable. About a 15-20 minute walk to the old town and center. The only issue we had was a very noisy pipe in our room that went off every time someone flushed the toilet. Otherwise stay was very comfortable. Check in and check out was very easy and we appreciated the earlier check in time. "

This is on the other side of San Sebastián so added several km to an already long hike...in addition the check in process is the worst I've ever experienced. It took us 2 hours + as there is no person at the front desk to help. I was literally standing at an intercom with 7 others waiting for almost 2 hours! there has to be a more accessible way for those on the go to not have to enter every person' information. A front...
