This was the perfect find! From the moment we arrived, the staff was so kind and friendly. We walked up the trail to get into town - it was so nice not to have to drive. The room was spotless and cozy. Breakfast is a must in the morning. We had plenty of delicious food and were even given to go bags to take sandwiches with us! 10/10 would definitely come again.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Rothenberg. It is centrally located inside the town walls and has a convenient store on the first floor that can make your days visiting the town a lot easier. Their breakfast is delicious!

The woman who greeted us was so kind and welcoming. I love this little town and would definitely stay at Hocher again. The rooms are nothing extraordinary but all needs are met (note: no irons!) If you do stay, choose room 1 because that view is much better than our view of the window of another room (I believe we had room 3). Quaint hotel in a quaint little town

Went to the Christmas market on Friday night. Easy walk to the market where we enjoyed ourselves. One of the best Christmas markets we have visited. The hotel's optional breakfast is well worth the 15 euro/each. We highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of old town. Walkable to everything, many cafes and restaurants nearby.
