"In kind of an industrial area at the edge of town more of a freeway stop than a destination. The staff was delightful, parking was convenient and free, the room was clean. This is not a non smoking hotel. The room smelled strongly of smoke and when we opened the window to get air it seemed that maybe workers from the place next door smoked all night there? We were four floors from the ground and the clouds of cigarette and marijuana smoke that filled our room were awful. The air conditioner...

"Being off season no staff were on site, but the sister hotel up the hill enabled room access. Room was well equipped and generous size with views across the lake - though sadly was foggy. Breakfast was also in the sister hotel and had a good choice of hot and cold options freshly prepared."

"Walkable from the bus stop, but take note there's a flight of stairs (I counted about 78 steps) via the shortest route. There's also a luggage friendly slope, but it's a bit of a detour. Nice clean facility. Lights in the toilet and showers work on a timer. (press and countdown type) The shower light went off in the middle of my shower and I was plunged into pitch black darkness because there are no windows in the shower room. "Nyon hostel is quite as described by other reviews. It is very clean except the rooms you sleep in because of the type of travellers who are inconsiderate about others. These selfish and ignorent travellers should be told to clean up after them but the hostel takes a dim view of its responsibility to ensure every traveller feels safe and is able to sleep peacefully. "Friendly and helpful hosts, very conveniently located next to train station"

"We have stayed there a couple of time. The view and atmosphere is unique. Rooms are relatively basic. Restaurant is a bit expensive but very good."
