Sandhamn is an island in Stockholm's archipelago, and the last stop before reaching the Baltic Sea. It is accessible by a two and a half hour ferry ride from Stockholm. We used Cinderella Batarna. Sandhamn is a great day tip from Stockholm. We went cycling around the island, had lunch at an outdoor cafe, went to the beach (the water was surprisingly warm), and took the kids mountain biking for their first time. "Cozy house surrounded by nature, yet close to Stockholm city. We stayed there around New Year's Eve and were treated to a beautiful blanket of snow! It was fantastic to cool off in the snow after the sauna and then warm up again by the fireplace. Excellent and fast communication with the landlord and a hassle-free check-in! We definitely recommend a stay!"
