"Palace in Moon Beach exceeded our expectations! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located on a picturesque section of beach and the grounds are well laid out and appealing, with beautiful plants, trees, flowers and other foliage. The interior and common areas are clean and well maintained and the interior plants and fish ponds are amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the style may be a bit dated. FYI: bed mattresses are quite firm and the beds are a little smaller than their American counterparts. The hotel location is convenient, with a Lawson's store near the property entrance, and dozens of shops and restaurants within a half mile walk from the hotel. The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet with many, and varying food options and an excellent dinner buffet, as well. There are two other restaurants on the property (though we did not try them) and a bar overlooking the beach. Parking is ample and easy to get in and out. The hotel has several stores with toiletries, snacks, artwork, clothing, etc. and vending machines, too. There is also an outdoor smoking area, complete with a garden and water feature. The hotel has two pools and the beach has rentable lounge chairs and umbrellas and a number of water activities are available for a fee. We were traveling with a wheelchair and the hotel and grounds were accessible, with staff members who were happy to assist, if needed. "

"We stayed in the Deluxe room this time, the room is very clean and all rooms are seaview room. The breakfast is expectional, especially the Japanese Style breakfast, they offered the entire set meal with rice and 5 dishes. Also the Spa and Tiger beach offer the great experience and the price is fair. I recommend to stay in this resort for more than 1 day."

"Room was enormous and clean. Balcony had a view of the sunset on the beach. Never seemed busy. Pools were lovely. Club amenities were a nice touch. "

"This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at, especially at this price point. The hotel was extremely clean. The view was impeccable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities provided everything you needed. What I valued the most were the little details. This resort thought of everything to make a guest's stay more enjoyable. From a bidet with a seat warmer and auto flush, shower room with a water heater temp control, spa toiletries, large bottles of water, ice cream, snacks, access to popular apps on TV, Bluetooth speaker, and much more. I highly recommend this resort. "

"Very nice, modern room with excellent views of the ocean. I liked the Japanese style eating/TV area, and the kitchen facilities. Wish we could have stayed longer. Note that the check in time is firm, no early check in. "

"Overall bad experience, three-star hotel at most. The hotel is old, facilities not quite clean. Our pillows have a dirty feet smell, very unpleasant. Even after we asked them to change the pillows, the next day, there is another dirty feet smell pillow!!! Food is not good either. The only ok restaurant is the Four Season one and the Japanese restaurant. But not all restaurants open all the time. Staff is not as friendly to foreigners as to Japanese . Limited English speaking staff"
