"Stayed at Legends whilst the Great Escape festival was on. The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the sea front. Breakfast was good and the staff really friendly. Our room was very small but adequate for what we needed. The bar below was very loud on the Friday and Saturday nights until very early in the morning. If you want a decent nights sleep I’d avoid the first floor rooms at the front above the bar area."

"We had four nights in the De La Danza suite( a disco/nightclub Ibiza theme. It has large balcony/lounge/bedroom 2 TVs ( 1 with Sky ) and very large en-suite. Sep shower for two and a very deep bath with hand held rinse. Over designed funky theme, lacking in practical points. Takes couple of days to work out lighting options. "We’ve stayed at the Old Ship several times, as it tends to be the best value for money. We love the central sea front location (and are prepared to put up with a bit of city noise… the complimentary ear plugs are a nice touch), sea views are well worth paying a bit extra for, and we even enjoy the 100 year old lift …. on the occasional time it arrives before we opt for the stairs instead (it is described optimistically as ‘a bit slow’). Very pleasant staff too. Looking forward to our next stay. "
