"Emailed the hotel prior to submit a request and due to the nature of it, was upgraded for free. They didn’t have to do that and certainly wasn’t expecting it! Upon arrival, they were very friendly and efficient. The room in question was very spacious and clean, however it’s definitely in need of some new windows, as the current ones are old and allow for excess noise from the traffic and trams. On the morning of checkout, the room card stopped working prematurely, this was rectified promptly...

"Overall it was a good stay, tha facilities were good and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was a little difficult as there was not much room around the facilitied and alot of people. Unfortunately, although there were two of us in the room, only one large towel was left after the room was serviced on Saturday morning."

"Staff was excellent and professional. The room is smallish by North American standards, but spotless and with clever storage options. Lots of hot water, and a very generous breakfast included: toast/yogurt/oatmeal/eggs/beans/sausage/croissant/8 varieties of machine coffee/cereals and fresh fruit. We stayed in a bank holiday weekend without knowing there was a marathon and a soccer team parade happening, so the area was full of a lot of revellers. We didn't feel unsafe, but it was overwhelming....

"Retail park nearby with some fast food options. Walkable but better options are further out closer to town. Great place to stay for access to the Etihad or Coop Live arena (assuming you have a car). Breakfast had plenty of options but if they bacon/eggs have been sat there a while then they go rubbery so not good! Place was very bright and staff welcoming. Sport available on the big screen with pool table available. Free drink if you skip room cleaning which was a nice touch."

"Great stay at Moxy … check in at the bar … trendy reception area that granddaughter loved. The family room was perfect for a 1 night stay and the Opera House Is just round the corner. Lots of coffee shops close by .. Nando’s opposite hotel and the upmarket Ivy round the corner. Cannot fault anything about our stsy"
