「We were going to stay two nights there, but ended up leaving within five minutes viewing. It had bad odour of cigarette smoke and mold. In addition, the room was incredibly dirty with stains on the carpet and hair on the bed. It is not maintained professionally and therefore shouldn’t be offered to the public until it is put into serviceable condition. It was very disappointing. 」

「We’ve stayed in a number of short term vacation rentals over the the years and Della’s is our favorite thus far. She has thought of everything. Our pug enjoyed the private back yard space, and we enjoyed having countless snacks, water, in-room laundry, privacy, a super comfortable bed and sectional to relax on, not to mention Whidbey Island itself. 「The Tyee Motel was easy, affordable, and quaint. The bed was super comfortable. Walls are paper thin, but I slept through the night just fine thanks to a comfortable bed. No issues at all.」

「Our family was visiting our son who is stationed at the Naval Air Station in Oak Harbor. The location was great for us as we were only 10 minutes away from him. The house was well kept up and large enough for our family. Great views! We even saw a whale from the deck one morning.」

「Nice large home with plenty of room for 13 to 15 people. Definitely a home where a family lives. It was not as clean as all the other VRBO I’ve stayed. You can definitely tell other live there. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Owner changed the dates of our stay because they were returning, but offered total refund if it did not work for us.」
