「The hotel was a four star hotel with courteous, attentive staff. Food was excellent. The atmosphere was calming.. We had 24 hour availability of the thermal pool and gardens directly from the back door of the hotel. The public has access from 10 AM to 4 PM only」

「It was such a pleasure to stay there. The stuff were very kind and sweet, most comfortable bed and pillow, great location, small but nice swimming pool for a rainy day. Loved the buiscuit they gave us so asked where to buy them then gave us some more! I found the airport shop were selling those if you like it;) 」

The location is a perfect home base for getting around the island, exploring hot springs, and hiking. There are several local hikes within walking distance or 5-10 mins driving. The decor is sleek and comfortable with lovely attention to detail. We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which is a MUST-- the best food we had during our stay. 「I was happy to spend my holidays in the comfortable VIP Executive Hotel in Porta Delgada. The only point to improve is to propose a more various breakfast. All other points related to my staying are excellent. Looking forward to come back 」
