「Amazing property and Host- we were going there thinking we would explore all the islands - but this property is Soo beautiful and peaceful that we decided to stay and recharge ourselves - only taking day trips around the island. Horacio and His family greeted us - what an amazing gesture and welcomed us and patiently explained the property and what we could expect on our trip. The house is just beautiful - exactly what the photos show and more - immaculately clean - views are out of this world....

「This house is exactly as it shows in the pictures. It was in a quiet area and within minutes of driving, you are in Ponta Delgada. The host Joao was quick to answer any questions that we had. The house was more than spacious for the 11 of us. I would definitely recommend this house for any large group.」

We made good use of the pool table, foosball table, indoor/outdoor fire places and the outdoor mini-football field. Walter and Priscilla were responsive and helpful hosts. 「Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit großzügigem Außenbereich samt Sommerküche. Der Vermieter ist sichtlich bemüht, die Dinge auf Stand zu halten, alles in ordentlichem Zustand. Das Haus liegt relativ einsam, ist aber durch neue gute Straßen gut angebunden (Horta bzw. Caldeira halbe Stunde, Capelinhos Katzensprung). Pizzeria in Gehweite, Einkaufsmöglichkeit besser mit Auto (5 Min). Übernahme und Abreise freundlich und problemlos.」

It is -- as it appears -- an architecturally interesting house, in a terrific location, with a delightful setting offering green views and outdoor space to enjoy (particularly handy with a 9 year-old boy in tow). There was some confusing on our behalf, since Expedia noted to get a mail prior to our arrival for access - then we learned that our host is on site already.」
