「The Vines is an amazing place to stay if you are visiting the Cotswolds: it’s peaceful, well located, the service was exceptional, the food was great! We went with some relatives visiting from abroad and they were enthusiastic about everything! 100% recommended and we will definitely be back!」

There was some confusion with communication: I received an email telling me the hotel was closed after I had booked and indeed there was a sign at the entrance of the hotel indicating it was closed, when it was not. 「Our host was friendly, accommodating and easily contactable by phone. House was clean, homely, had most things we needed. Had a wonderful stay with friends and family, we would definitely stay again!!」

「Brilliant stay, check in was quick and smooth. Show to our rooms which were clean and spacious with large king bed. Staff were excellent during the stay and even did us a meal which wasn't on the recently updated menu. Breakfast freshly cooked and again adapted the choice for my colleague. 」

「Our stay was lovely, meeting up with family plus three dogs to celebrate Christmas, parking for 4 cars, large garden for dogs to run around in a pretty village with the essential pub…The house was well equipped with extras like books and games, we were only there 3 nights so didn’t venture far , a quick trip to diddly squat farm and a walk around Witney, would love to return in the summer and explore some more, thanks Stephanie!」

「Hartelijk ontvangen en goed alles uitgelegd. Mooie kamer en goede douch. Parkeren vond ik spannend, want dat was niet naast het gebouw maar dat ging goed. Ducklington is ook een vriendelijk dorp.」

「入ったとたんにタイムスリップしたかのような、古くて上等なホテルです。 よく手入れされたイングリッシュガーデンも素敵でした。 3階の部屋の窓から中世の街が見渡せました。 朝食はメニューも豊富で、おいしかったです。 オリジナルのマーマレードをおみやげに買いました。 荷物を出し入れするための駐車スペースがエントランス近くに無くて不便でした。」

「A recently renovated room i think ( room 3) New bathroom- and powerful hot shower . Love the unusual wall paper! Room extremely clean and had all expected extras ( tea , coffee , biscuits ) No bath. (( if that’s your preference) Also located up stairs so some people may find that difficult. Easy access from courtyard and easy parking onsite. Fabulous breakfast. From bacon and sausage to avocado and sourdough. Great coffee and service prompt and friendly. 」

「古く歴史的な建物でタイムスリップしたかのような雰囲気が味わえました。建物自体は古いですが、室内やファブリックは上品で洗練されていました。お庭もよく手入れされ、花々がとても綺麗でした。周囲にも同じような建物や家が立ち並びこじんまりとした素敵は町でした。朝食は種類も多く、温かい料理も選べ、smoke trautが絶品でした。夕食もこちららのホテルで食べれば良かったと後悔しました。車はホテルの前に駐車できましたが、１５時半に到着したらほぼ一杯でした。なにより、ホテルのスタッフの方々が親切で適度にフレンドリーで心地よく、温かい気持ちになりました。スタッフの方々、アリスさん、有難うございました。こんな素敵なホテル、このままずっと続いて欲しいです。また行きたいです。 」

「We stayed two nights and love this hotel. The food at the restaurant was really good! イギリスの典型的古いホテルで、そういうのがお好きな方にはぴったりです。部屋のタイプは色々ありそうでしたが狭いツインを選択しました。快適で、テレビもWi-Fiもケトルもありました。バスタブは無かったけどお湯はたっぷり出たし水圧も満足できる強さでした。 ホテルのレストランはパブエリアとダイニングエリアに分かれていて、パブは地元のおじさん達で賑やか、その奥では静かにご飯が食べられました。そして味もとても良かったです。 ホテルの裏にテムズ川が流れていて散歩しながら白鳥を眺めて、素敵な時間を過ごしました。」
