「Zum Abschluss von unserer Safaritour durch Tansania wollten wir noch ein paar Tage am Meer geniessen. Bei der Auswahl vom Hotel sind wir auf das Zawadi Hotel Zanzibar gestossen. Wir wollte nicht in einem grossen Hotelbunker übernachten. Was wir dann angetroffen haben hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir möchten sogar behaupten, dass das Hotel das beste Kleinhotel von Sansibar und Tansania sein wird. Noch besser kann man es nämlich nicht machen. Service, Unterkunft, Anlage, Strand, Essen...

「This is an idyllic, quiet, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely and modern with air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the 4 course a La carte dinner is outstanding with lots of choice and variety. The location is right on the white Sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend. 」

「Vi hade en underbar vistelse under 5 nätter. All service man kan tänka sig. Underbart god och varierad mat. Personalen gjorde allt de kunde för att vi skulle få äta våra måltider på fler underbara platser. Generöst och privat boende, perfekt för avkoppling och par. Fina områden och man upplever överallt att man har hela anläggningen för sig själv. All typ av aktiviteter, cyklar-paddel-boards-snorkling fanns på deras systerhotel bredvid. Vi kommer tillbaka!」

「Nous avions une bonne chambre dans cet hôtel au charme un peu décati avec logements espacés sur une vaste portion de plage : cela donne l’impression que l’hôtel n’est pas plein. Personnel extrêmement agréable et prévenant. Très belle plage de sable blanc se découvrant à marée basse. Seul petit problème : le système écolo de chauffage d’eau ne fournit pas d’eau chaude le matin !」

「I really enjoyed my stay at the Clove Island. The food and drinks were fantastic and the staff were amazing and very friendly. They were readily available to help and answer any questions we had during our stay. When it came to booking transportation to get around Zanzibar, they made the process easy. The property is nice, if you are looking for a cozy, quiet place secluded from the hustle and bustle, stay here. Also steps away from the beach and safe. 」

「The staff is great! Very friendly and service minded. They are the best about this place. The food is good but not amazing. Another issue regarding eating, is that there is no restaurant close by. We ended up using a taxi taking us to other places to eat. Expect bout 10 minutes by car to some good restaurants. 「The property was very quiet and provided a great place to relax and unwind and enjoy the sunshine along with the pool for cooling off. The staff was very attentive and provided anything needed. The Valentine's night dinner was amazing along with the room decorations. Every detail made the night special for me and my partner. I will never forget it. 」

「We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car. We booked a scooter thru the hotel and traveled to Paje. DJ played great music at the hotel. We loved the vibe! With that said, a few things to be noted … Limited food options and we grew bored of the pricey...
