「What a gem in the middle of town! The Michabelle Inn is an oasis set with beautiful grounds and shady live oaks. Our room, the Oriental cabin, was very comfortable. Just what we needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of my friends. 」

「Spending our night all alone at a Plantation was amazing. We felt very safe and secure in our own 1800's mansion. We enjoyed a glass of wine one the second floor porch in rocking chairs watching the sun set over the farm fields. The ladies made a delicious breakfast and provided a history of the property. 」

「Today is April 21, 2024. The property (including the grounds) is well maintained and clean. It's rural, so during sleeping hours it's pretty quiet--though there was a train around 0445 on Saturday. I don't know if I would have heard it if I wasn't already awake, though it's certainly not "off in the distance". (look at a map) I didn't hear one on Friday between midnight and 0800. 「Walkable to so much we wanted to do. Always had easy parking out front. Quiet residential area and the hosts were friendly and personable. The Marigny is a great neighborhood and you can easily walk to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter, and many other things. We easily found restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. 」
