"Was looking for a stopover for one night and stayed in Yurakuan. The property looks old but it was well maintained. Everything is clean albeit old. The only downside is we book a room for 5 pax which has 2 twin beds and a room for 3 futons. But we can only fit 2 futons as the big table took up space and there’s no where else to place it. So my youngest gal squeeze with me on the bed instead. Other than that, the stay was comfortable "

"It took an hour to actually find the room after needing help from locals, it took about 45 mins to find. The room did not seem as though it was cleaned after last guest, unfortunately there was blood leaking down the toilet and the trashes were full. Other than those two things, the hotel was nice just not as clean as it could’ve been. Would still recommend to friends. "

Since there is no staff in the building, your only way to access is by the email sent by the property owner. The email arrive at 6pm on the day I check-in, after I reach out many time and through email, their offical website and Expedia. Take your risk when consider this place. "

I wished they had air condition in the common aisle area as the weather can get very hot (the room, kitchen area had good air conditioning). Also we had guest complaining about any noises as you really had to open/close door quietly etc...and some guests the very last day was very noisy until 3am in the morning while the door of the rooms, youi could hear everything. "No bathroom!!!!!!! Overpriced tiny room ! It says “ shared bathroom” no only the hot spring room which is for all the residents! A con a rip off. I am going to sue them get a refund. Liars. DO NOT go there!"

"Waranino is heaven on earth. Unlike traditional ryokan, this is utterly modern and beautifully set in a wooded glen. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Someone is always there the moment you need anything. The breakfasts and dinners magnificent! Not only delicious but also plated with the eye in mind on pottery unique to the area. "The rooms have lots of space and has double showers and toilets it’s perfect for friends and family. "

"Simple and good. Room was clean. Location is decent. Some considerations: You’d have to carry your luggage up to the second or third floor. If you are 180cm or taller, the shower would be too small for you. Nothing particularly exceptional but nothing bad either. Good value place. "

"Very clean and very comfortable. They are very vague about you putting everything back. Does it mean you have to wash all of your dishes and put them back exactly? Communication was lacking. Of the two emails I sent, I never got a response. I left some stuff there and asked if it was found and they decided not to answer me. I ended up leaving it there so I suppose someone else is not enjoying it."
