POSSIBLE CREDIT CARD FRAUD. I stayed there on January 23rd to january 27th 2023. At that time the hotel scanned my credit card to secure a deposit. They correctly withdrew my expedia bill. with which I have no issue. However 5 additional amounts accounting to 80702 JPY were withdrawn against google ads exactly at the time I stayed there. The hotel was the only institution to physically touch my card in the previous two months. I used it on the 25th in Ubud and it cannot be that restaurant as the amounts were withdrawn beforehand. I approached the hotel to report the possibility that fraud has been committed by one of their staff. I contacted Google ads and they confirmed the card details were used by a third party (indonesian name gmail starting with S). Their accountant basically just said they have secure systems and their hotel does not record credit card information, This is PATENTLY untrue because I was shown a print out of my card details (name, number, expiry and PIN) printed on a paper. This can ONLY be done if my information was stored on their system. DO NOT LET THEM SEE YOUR CREDIT CARD
I am still awaiting a satisfactory result from their accountant.

I stayed at the property while attending a conference there. The facilities and staff were excellent for the purpose. Overall, everything at the hotel was fine except for dinner at the restaurant. It took over half an hour to receive the dish I ordered and some people at my table had to wait even longer.

Wonderful staff, nice food, decent location, not a great place to go out for a walk (although the security guard is quick to help stop traffic so you can cross the street). Bali had a rough 3 years with the tourist industry decimated by covid; the hotel is coming back, but be tolerant if the facilities are still recovering. Staff were a pleasure to interact with.

Staff always wanting payment before we had finished meals.
Toilet blocked regularly, toiletries not replaced.
Bed and room comfortable, TV had only instructions in Bahasa.
SPA advertised has not been available for a long time, so it is wrong to advertise a SPA massage service, as this was one of the reasons we selected the hotel.
The other was the GYM, very good service but, not run directly by the hotel and only one guest from each room can use the gym, and then only once per 24 hours. This is not expectable. The basic stuff was fine and breakfast was quality, but we can do better for the price in Sanur. Ideal for Indonesian conventions not not for other types of guests.
