「This property is exactly as advertised, and has a great view of the Caribbean waters and some of the rest of the Grenadines. The owners of the place are also very kind, attentive, and quick to respond in case of any trouble or need for help regarding anything and everything. One thing to note is that this property can feel a little far from the main areas of Bequia found around the port. So it is good to keep in mind that a taxi may be required for use when staying at this wonderful house. 」

「Flamingo Villa is a terrific place to stay when visiting Bequia. The house, which is very comfortable, is in a terrific location: less than a minute to the beach and a ten minute walk to the main town. The owner, is extremely helpful and responsive. We booked for next year while waiting for our plane in the airport.」

「Don't be fooled by the advert. It's not what it seemed. We visited late December, 4 adults and 2 small kids. We had great expectations; large villa, hot tub for the grandchildren to play in. Unfortunately the tub didn't work and looked aged, had a very sharp tap pointing into the tub, the deck became very slippery when it rained and there was no protection on the back of the deck to prevent accidental falls, especially by the kids playing. 「The Sugar Mill is a beautifully designed, airy and pretty unique villa high up overlooking the sea and islands to the East of Bequia. Being high up it gets a very necessary cooling breeze. Bequia had suffered a long drought while we were there, so was less green than normal, but it was still lovely. Quirin was very welcoming and we could see what efforts he is making to maintain the Old Fort and the estate - quite a challenge! 「The villa is beautiful, spacious, has character. The high ceiling in the lounge is stunning, the view over the hills to the sea is great. The garden contains a number of quite interesting plants. With its central location (in relation to the road network), the villa makes an excellent basis to explore the entire island. Both, the owner and the caretaker, are very helpful and easily approachable. Thanks a lot for letting us stay at your villa, we had a great time!」
