「There was construction on the property that impacted entrances and was noisy early in the morning. Staff were great and breakfast was also great! 」

「Very good location, close to HOF and main street. Cold breakfast, with good variety. Good service. The staff members helped me with tour cancellation and changes, public bus ticket purchase. Toilet flush had a bit of trouble. Triple bed room had no tea-making facility while single bed room had.」

「Amazing views and an amazing space. Huge and comfortable home with all the amenities, close to the best spa in Iceland and the beautiful city of Akureyri. Owner was very responsive and accommodating and hot tub was an added luxury that was well appreciated. Overall an excellent stay, very highly recommend for any kind of weather or adventure.」

「Very comfortable bed and plenty of room although bathroom a bit cramped. Nice furnishings, pleasant and helpful manager. The street is a busy one so can be noisy with traffic at peak times morning and evening as property on a hill. Also guest house is noisy as my room was on the ground floor so could hear noise from upstairs and the owners part of the house. Also the room I had was off the lobby so people coming and going made it noisy and no privacy from the street or other guests if the blinds...

「Well equipped, although missing shampoo in the bathroom. Could use written instruction on TV, as we never managed to turn it on. Free parking is not available weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM, although you can park a bit further down the street, away from paid parking zone. Kitchen facilities (stove, fridge & microwave) are nice to have.」
