「The hotel is charming. It’s not the most luxurious affair but everting is above average. Room comfortable and clean. Deluxe family has patio door with direct access to the garden is a plus. Their leisure facility is a bit tired and can be improved. Breakfast has enough variety. Staff friendly. Pleasant stay overall. Would recommend. 」

「Kendalには、湖水地方の博物館、美術館もあり、Windemereが観光地化しているのに対して、Kendalは落ち着いたイギリスの地方都市の風情があります。2泊このホテルに宿泊しましたが、Windemereに宿泊できないときには、Kendalに宿泊するのも一つの手だと思います。町は川沿いの散策路があり、魅力的で、Kendal駅からもホテルは近いです。ホテルは川に面しており、落ち着いてみます。バスセンターが、ホテルから徒歩7分ぐらいのところにあり、ここから湖水地方に向かうこともできます。1日券、1週間券もあり、Windemereはもちろんのこと、グラスミア、ケズィック、コニストン方面もバスで行けます。ホテルの部屋は、大きく取ってあり、リフトもありますが、半階ほど下がってから利用することになり、重い荷物を運ぶには少し不便でした。 」

「Quiet and Comfortable」

「House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...

「Beautiful cottage very clean and comfortable we will stay again 」

「Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. The townhouse is fitted out to a high standard and is well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted an issue with the sky box straight away. 「The cottage itself was a little dated but clean and tidy with everything you needed. The view was spectacular but the road leading to the property was not for the faint hearted and very challenging. The small cottage is one of several holiday let’s on the same property and as the larger property was fully occupied with several visitors during our stay and between 6-10 cars we had to park outside the front of our bungalow which meant we saw our car not the view. Not bad but good be better.」

「This property exceeded our expectations! Very spacious lounge and kitchen. The 4 double bedrooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. Massive bonus was that 2 of them had ensuites as well as another bathroom. The property was immaculate and is clearly looked after well. The location was very peaceful and remote. Daunting single road to travel from the main road for 2-3 miles however after doing it once it was a lot easier. Minimal traffic. Will definitely stay again!」
