Tongyeong Mountain Vacations

PROS: Every room has a balcony and a view of the ocean. Full size fridge and stove. The hotel manager (or captain) was so nice and spoke very good English. She is also very funny and cute. I hung my shirt out to dry on the balcony and overnight it flew off. She helped me track it down. CONS: Aside from the rooms, the rest of the property is very hot. Although there is a washing machine in each room, there is NO DRYER. Make sure you have time to air dry your clothes. Our room was very run down and not kept up well. A ton of dust and hair under the beds. The towels smell like mildew and the walls were in really bad shape. Our room was 8 floors above the pool and you can hear every screaming child from your room even with the sliding door shut--Just bad architectural design not the management's fault. Don’t plan on an afternoon nap in this hotel.

Run down property, elevators not all operational, okay…but not for the price paid. Bottom line it is an overpriced hotel for the quality provided

Nice Apartment with unbeatable views straight out of a K Drama series. Modern environmental controls and high tech kitchen and home appliances really added to the experience.

It was spacious clean and the location was very accessible to all the tourists spots.

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed at with amazing views BUT it is rather far from most attractions in Busan. Very limited in dining options nearby and limited in activities/attractions. But the overall rooms/complex was extremely nice.

We enjoyed it so much even though we couldn’t see the blue sea and blue sky due to the weather. The suite room was bigger than our master room and bathroom together at home! The breakfast was amazing!

We really loved our room at the Ananti. It was absolutely beautiful and the design elements were fantastic. The service was good. Only a couple issues: The hotel was pretty empty and we asked for a late check out but they wouldn’t let us. Not end of world. Our flight wasn’t until much later so it would have been nice. Also, their breakfast is incredibly expensive and the food did not come out warm. They were very kind and remade a couple items. The area seems to be developing still. It was close to the Dragon Temple, which was a must see. The hotel was great about getting us taxis and it was easy to get around by taxis. Overall, I don’t think you can get a better room. The beds were awesome, the bath was large and views were fantastic!

This hotel offers a fantastic location, with great restaurants and the famous Jagalchi fish market within walking distance. The in-house pool was a hit with our kids, and the big movie screen provided excellent entertainment. The host's thoughtful amenities enhanced our comfort. What truly stood out was the host's prompt and considerate responses to our needs. Their attentiveness greatly contributed to our positive experience. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The combination of convenient location, family-friendly facilities, and exceptional host service made for a memorable visit.

Everything is in walking distance, restaurants, streets food areas, markets everywhere above ground and underground, transport close, very safe area.

It was okay not great. Room was kinda small.

The address for this hotel is for the parking garage, so my taxi driver had difficulty locating it. The hotel is very close to Nampo station Exit 1. This station is only a few stops from Busan station. Also note: checkin is done on the 2nd floor. Nothing indicates tbat at the entrance. The hallway on the 4th floor is somewhat forbidding. But the room, which faced the back of the hotel gives a good view of Busan Tower and a small temple, was fine although it was spartan. The mattress was very firm. The comforter was clean and comfortable. The refrigerato was larger than is usual in hotel rooms, so keeping food was convenient and easy. Rooms do not have microwave ovens. However, a general use microwave is available on the 2nd floor. Tbe bathroom was very clean. It was a wet bathroom. Water was very hot. Water pressure was good. Please note, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash are available. Other personal care products are not standard, but you can ask for them. Tbe location is excellent! Walking distance to Lotte Mall, many restaurants, shopping of other types, transportation (Nampo Station, Exit 1), Yodulsan Park, Busan Tower, Jalgachi Fish Market, street markets, maritime museum, and plenty of other attractions Rooms are definitely no frills. The staff is helpful. Maps of the Jung-go area are available in English and Korean. If you don't mind a no-frills place to sleep, this would be a good place to stay. I was here for 8 days.
