great location to downtown for walking, has lots of parking and next to Wolfburg castle and parks. Have to be OK with self check in after two.

Old, big room, good breakfas.
Old hotel. Really big room for a family of 4, but outdated. Needs some improvement. Stains on the floor carpet, old furniture. I had an issue checking in bacause i arrived aroud 19:30 h and there was no employee at front desk. I had to phone someone who was in Hamburg, so he could tell me a password to open a box containing my key. Then i had to figure out how to get to my room, from a back door, because the front door was closed. A real maze to get there. Good breakfast.

Character and location of the hotel was great - breakfast could have been switched up a bit as it was the same buffet for the entire week. Noise from out in the parking lot/adjacent rooms was noticeable, but expected given the age of the property. Overall happy with the stay!

Hotel is old and desperately needs updating. No elevator to 3rd floor room. No shower curtain. Mildew around shower. Carpet stained and dirty. No bar. Breakfast was ok. Staff very friendly.

Wolfsburg, Germany
Light from building next door shown brightly into room. Slamming of outside door, people outside window talking and smoking till 1am. Great people at check in and check out. Wonderful location. Could leave car parked there while in town. Close enough for walking.

Lovely location and Germanic feel
Nice location right next to a castle with walking area, art and flowers. Within easy walk to VW Wolfsburg museum. Nearby restaurant at castle is great.. Lots of parking and nearby transit.

Lovely style of property in v quiet location. Its restaurant is fine and a good Breakfast. The rooms are simply furnished but perfectly ok

Affordable bed near Autostadt
Comfortable but basic. Excellent breakfast, but if you're hoping to have a meal and a few beers with it, don't expect a short walk. There is no restaurant at the hotel and not a lot of choice nearby.

Close to what we were doing
A little difficult to find, but it was dark by the time we got there. A little older hotel but the front has a lot of charm. Clean room. Close to the Autostadt and that is where we were going. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. Good coffee.

Value for money HOTEL
Overall it was good. I liked the hotel and its services. The breakfast was fantastic. I will come again and again when the needs arise.

The decor is dated, the water didn’t drain well in the shower but there was plenty of hot water. Overall it was what I expected for the price. Breakfast was average but appreciated.

Lovely traditional gausthous. Unfortunately, that means no elevator. This hotel is in a lovely area on the outskirts of Wolfsburg, with no transit connection to the town. Taxis were about 15€. The gausthous was not serving any food except breakfast, but there are 2 excellent restaurants in the neighbourhood, each about a 200m walk

Squeaky beds and paper curtains.
Needs curtains, yes it had fabric over the windows but they were very thin and the windows very large so this did not keep out the light. The rooms were clean but very dated and breakfast was unattended so some of the items were quite dry on eating. Although comfortable the beds squeaked and had the standard German pillows. There's plenty of free parking on a quiet road out the front and it's in a nice quiet location within 20mins walk of the Autostadt.

The breakfast was excellent and our room was better than expected. The history of the area around the hotel was very interesting and unexpected. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore more.

Hotel is located in a quite area with enough free parking spaces. Staffs were nice. The only bad experience with this hotel is their strict application of the cancellation policy. It was my mistake that made reservations for a single room twice under my name. Even though it was an obvious mistake which was not intended, the hotel charged 90% of cancellation fee upon the cancellation of one of the rooms. No flexibility at all.

Hotel was fine for a quick overnight, but with no restaurant open for dinner I had to venture back into town. Is close to the Wolfsburg Castle and grounds. As well as the Autostadt. Breakfast was good. Room was a basic, comfortable room.

Very pretty hotel with huge and clean room.
The hotel's family room is very huge. We felt like we are living in a huge mansion! Super huge and clean master bedroom, kitchen (the cooker is disabled though), study room, children bedroom, toilets/bathroom and cloak room. Breakfast was very nice with a wide selection of yogurts, cheese, ham, cereals, juices, eggs, breads, tuna packed in a form of a sausage, etc...

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen - eventuelle Modernisierungen sind nicht fachgerecht ausgeführt worden. Das ganze Gebäude ist sanierungsbedürftig. Wir werden diese Unterkunft nicht wieder buchen.

Alter Wolf, en pärla
Mycket lugnt läge i Wolfsburg, granne med slottet. Vår familj på 5 personer fick en lägenhet med tre sovrum. Gångavstånd till centrum och Autostadt. Smidig incheckning och mycket trevlig personal.

Wir waren eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück da. Gesamteindruck gut. Allgemein in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch gepflegt und sauber. Frühstück war auch ok.

Alter Wolf ist alt geworfen
Hotel hat seit Jahren keine Renovierungen mehr gesehen. Restaurant seit Jahren wohl auch geschlossen.
