Stayed in this property with two other families for a holiday getaway and to visit Busch Gardens. Loved how many bedrooms and bathrooms there were and how the kids could essentially have their own floor. Our only challenge was because it was over a holiday, we were in the space more than most probably would be and we all felt that while beautiful, the furniture beyond the beds isn’t really very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable!

We really loved our visit at this property. We love the five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The appliances were great. The bathrooms were terrific. The layout was fantastic. There were a few small things I would’ve enjoyed to see such as a coat rack, some shelving or a dresser for clothing in the bedrooms. But other than that, it was wonderful.

Beautiful home! Perfect accommodations for 14! Plenty of space, bathrooms were amazing, and great amenities! Not far from Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Highly recommend - and would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay; great for a big group! Our only minor complaints were that the floor was rather dirty in various places across the house and that the shower heads were low for tall people. We rather enjoyed the safe and quaint neighborhood, updated appliances and bathrooms, and comfortable beds! Will definitely stay here again should the opportunity present itself. Also, host was very responsive to some questions we had when we arrived.

Remodeled Victorian home with lots of charm! Besides ample space, there is also a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses, etc. The steam shower in the master bedroom on the 1st floor is amazing! Not far from Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. The house is also within walking distance of The Blue Crab (an excellent restaurant) and the park if you have small children. There is no doubt that I would return to this home in the future! I highly recommend it!

We were definitely impressed. Beautiful property. Booking and communication from the owner was wonderful. We didn’t have to take a thing other than ourselves and a change of clothes. Great quiet area and lots of things to do. We definitely will be back!!

Interior decor was nothing like the outside. Very cool Victorian house with very modern interior. Quiet quaint neighborhood. Loved the bells of the nearby church. Loved the showers (didn’t want to get out) and modern kitchen. Best thing about VRBO is the interesting places you can stay you wouldn’t otherwise.

This is an old house that in most ways has been updated. There was an abundance of space for our group of 15. The bathroom showers were excellent, with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is also very nice; the only thing we missed was a garbage disposal. We had a very nice time!

The house was absolutely perfect for the five couples getting together for a long weekend. It was extremely spacious - rooms all had very comfortable beds and each room had a spectacular bathroom attached. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. The dining room was great for an evening of cards and games for the ten of us. Loved the location - visited 5 wineries in the area (40 minute radius) and only about 30 minutes to Colonial Williamsburg. The owner was extremely responsive to questions and gave us some great recommendations! Loved every minute of our stay!

There were 10 of us who stayed for a week, including an infant, child, teens, adults and elderly . The first floor bedroom and en suite bathroom was perfect for my in laws who are older. The very upstairs floor was perfect for the kids. All the beds and bedding was very comfortable. It also was not too hot even in hot summer week in an old house. We loved the location and the property! Close enough to all the area has to offer ! Also, feed the baby goats if you get a chance at the farm in town !so fun!

Advance communication with host POOR. they change the door code and did not notify me so there was a great deal of frustration on arrival. There is not one single comfortable chair in this entire house. Bathrooms are very nice., kitchen Reno looks good but does not function well. No mixer or potato masher had to go buy one no fuel for the grill we were told to go and buy it no window coverings in kitchen so you are living in a fishbowl, 1/2 of one roll of paper towels was supplied hosted not respond to communications while we were in residence .bad experience overall

This was a fantastic home in a cute neighborhood not far from Colonial Williamsburg. Plenty of room for our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids, ages 8-15); everyone had their own bed and their own space. Rarely do we find a vacation home with so many bathrooms! And man, the showers were a spa like experience. The beds were new and super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There is a drip coffee maker with a grinder (we brought our own beans). Some of us hung out on the front porch. Some played board games in the dining area. Some spent time reading in the front room. The kids LOVED having their own lounge area on the second floor. It was an easy walk to the shops and Blue Crab Restaurant on Main Street. Locals were super friendly. The kids walked to McDonald’s and got a milkshake. The Food Lion grocery store was an easy and quick drive down the main road. Nice retreat that made us feel like we stepped back in time. While there is no driveway, parking was plentiful on the street in front of the home. There was only a table for 6 in the dining room, but we were able to utilize the second table in the kitchen as well.

We made a plan last moment with limited options available and stumbled upon a listing that exceeded our expectations. Initially, judging from the Google image, we thought it was an old home and booked with low expectations. However, to our surprise, it turned out to be a beautifully renewed and meticulously designed property. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a spacious and inviting living area. The house boasted plenty of space, and every room had been thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort. The kitchen was a standout feature, with upgraded appliances and a modern aesthetic that made cooking a pleasure. The bathrooms had also been renovated, offering a clean and contemporary feel. The bedrooms were spacious and provided a comfortable retreat after a long day. The beds ensured a good night's sleep, and we woke up refreshed and ready to explore. Overall, we were delighted with our decision to book this home, despite the initial uncertainty. The photos on Google didn't do justice to the beauty and upgrades of the actual property. We very much enjoyed this beautiful house. We never got a chance to cook in the kitchen, but it was very nice and I’m sad I never used it. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean, and it was perfect for us with our 4 kids and our friends with their two kids. We would highly recommend!
