We received no instructions prior to arriving for how to get into the unit (code, etc.) or for proper check-out instructions. We were forced to communicate with the host directly for all of this information. The front door was quite problematic - more than once we had to enter the code multiple times and practically "kick the door-in" to gain entry. No Wi-Fi instructions were provided. Both beds are upstairs, with no privacy, which was not communicated in the listing. We found NO extra blankets- (at a cabin in Alaska) told by host to "steal them from the other bed". The shower space is very cramped. Anyone over 6' is going to "bump" the ceiling of the surround. The shower-head flow was not adjustable, which created a very uneven shower experience...feeling like it was piercing your skin in some ways. The biggest concern, however, was definitely the Heater. We were provided NO INSTRUCTIONS for operating the unit - and multiple times it "reset" to 62 degrees (sometimes in the middle of the night). When it operated properly - the cabin stayed sufficiently warm...very frustrating that it had to be reprogrammed to a comfortable 72 degrees every few hours (the temps outside were in the upper 30's overnight).The location was nice and the decor of the cabin was sufficient...and it was mostly quiet (as advertised). I don't plan to stay in this unit in the future because the stairs were very "loud" and not a good fit for our age and mobility.
