The hotel is in a great spot for sightseeing. Most things are just a short walk away .05 to 1 mile away.

I’m not really an advocate of pets at a hotel, which made me nervous about this one, but I did not see any thankfully. The rooftop lounge/restaurant was very loud and had lots of activity which was kind of annoying as I had to wait for elevators numerous times just to get to my room. But the room was well appointed and the record player was a nice touch.

My wife and i spent three nights at this property. I barely could sleep at night, Emergency car and police escorts sirens killed me, starting from 7 am till night. Then rooftop disco just never let me sleep. Room was not equiped with coffee machine, i had to ask reception to put one inside room, then i was struggling to ask room service to refill it. Phone inside the room was not working from day one and nevere fixed so for every need i had to come down to reception. Carpet inside the room needed a wash. A tinny and very very ordinary room, much less than my expectations from a 4.5 star hotel! I cant say any difference with a three star hotel. There are two resturants in the hotel. One was called Michelle, with a quality of food like a fast food but much more expensive and kitchen closed at 9 pm! Another was like cafe market, two days were closed. Location is perfectvfor those want to visit whitehouse and nation mall. Very nice and polite staff. LGBT fiendly so this hotel could be a good option for those looking for LGBT friendly environment. Rooms were smaller than the photo. A very simple and tinny lobby The air conditioning was very noisy. Every time it started working, i thought a truck hit our room. Next time, if i want to visit Washington Dc, i would try hoteels closer to Georgetown. Generally spaeking, it was not a bad experience, but i was expecting much more from a 4.5-star hotel.

The hotel has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was nice, though the chair was stained and the phone flashed constantly.

Great location and customer service. Great water pressure in shower. Fun vibe at hotel. Unique perks such as books and records in the room. Never received the promised free breakfast vouchers. Market place for breakfast was closed all three days for breakfast. Looked forward to happy hour at the rooftop bar but that was closed for private event all three nights. Air in room would not go below 68 degrees and was a bit warm in the room.

The Eaton was within walking of everything we wanted to see. They were great about late check in and had someone waiting for our late arrival (after 11:30pm due to delays at the airport)

My overall experience at the Eaton was meh to good. The pros: I was looking for something unique and more personal than the conference hotel I could have stayed out. The rooms were, indeed, well decorated and creative. I had a standard king interior room, which was a little small. Other than the bed, the only sitting area was a small round table and single chair. The staff were all nice; the location was great and very walkable to most things. At night I generally had a quiet sleep. The cons: For the price point (I paid about $400/night with taxes) the amenities were lacking. The gym was a sad room of just a few dumbells and tredmills. There were no coffee machines in the room, although, myseriously, on my last night one appeared. They do have free coffee in the lobby, however. The view from the interior facing rooms are of other buildings as you'd expect but also of the HVAC equipment, which I found a bit loud (not exactly white noise). I was on the fifth floor and that equipment was about two floors below me. The elevators are awfully small and slow. On the weekend when there were events going on in the hotel, the lobby was unpleasantly congested and there were long waits for the elevators. The room doors slam, something many other hotels have now figured out how to prevent with soft shutting door. So more than a few times I was woken up by slamming doors. All in all, I'd probably try somewhere different next time I am in DC.

We also have many foods and entertainment outlet that are sometimes busy on the weekends, and we do work to keep the noise levels down for our guests. We hope one day in the future we will decide to join us in the future.

I wouldn’t recommend this. It felt much more like a 3 star than a 4 star. The rooftop brings in a college crowd and the hallways were dirty. We arrived 2 hours after check in and our room wasn’t ready. Overall very mediocre experience.

Unique hotel. Entertaining. Nice selection in and around hotel for dining, drinks, and coffee. Some of the staff weren’t friendly enough. Housekeeping could be better. Long hair in my bathroom sink upon arrival. Stingy with water. No water in room or offered upon arrival.

When we arrived the front desk was super helpful and nice! They told us to check out the rooftop bar. When we went up, we were told there was an event but we could go. The bartenders told us to scan the menu, so we took a few minutes picking out a cocktail. When we ordered, the bartender said “yeah we can’t make anything on the menu. I can make a margarita or something.” We thought that was kind of weird and the event - whatever it was - was super disorganized. The staff was friendly though, they just also seemed super confused. Then we got a late check out, and room service was banging on our door at 8 am. Not too happy with that after a late night! Overall, it was nice and we’d stay again.

Property is nice. But I feel a bit pricy. Onsite parking is $67 a day. Shop around other parking lots in the area better more affordable prices out there. On site restaurant Menu could use more of a selection, or daily specials.

I liked they had a restaurant and bar/club. They had a hip hop even going on so that was cool and I saw folks doing yoga. I was there for a race so it would have been great to have coffee for those heading out early. The vending machine was broken so if you wanted anything after 9pm you were out of luck. Not many spots in the area for snacks, would have had to do Uber eats so just had my leftovers. Staff was great and gave us good recommendations in the area. I'd stay here again.

Property was beautiful. Valet parking is $67 but states $55 on the site so we got it for that price instead. We paid for a Queen bed and got a full size. We know this for a fact because we measured it. Both my husband and I feet were hanging off the bed and we were shoulder to shoulder, it was very frustrating.

It was our first time in DC and at the Eaton and we loved both! The location was close to many of the tourist areas and there was a wonderful cafe attached downstairs. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was beautiful and clean. When we needed more towels the front desk was quick to send us more towels. We enjoyed both bars in the hotel very much.

First time staying at this hotel. Room was clean and nice we especially like the record player in the room that had random records you could play on the system. A unique ammenity but enjoyed it for sure! Lastly, nice size refrigerator compared to some hotels very small refrigerator. Would definitely come back here and recommend this hotel

This is a good value stay. Convenient location for tourists including public transit although we mostly walked down to the museums. Also near the sports stadiums. Room was nice, some cute hipster touches. The shower was very awkward -- you'll get soaked with cold water turning it on. The gym was sub par, not very clean and barely enough to get a cursory workout in. Forget it if someone else is there when you arrive. They offer yoga but at odd times -- what tourist wants to be around their hotel room at noon? Even 6am would be preferable. Coffee provided in lobby but no milk; steal it from the attached breakfast restaurant, which btw is not good. If you are eating there out of convenience, sign up for InKind for a discount.
