"This is a beautiful property on the grounds of a chateau in the countryside. Peaceful and lovely, with very friendly owners who speak several languages and are helpful in suggesting sites to visit nearby. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spacious and comfortable."

"Madame Poisson is a charming hostess. Traveling alone, I felt safe and well cared for. The rooms are spacious and decorated with Madame's 50+ years of antique collecting. The small town is silent at night, which I also appreciated. My bathroom needed a deep cleaning, however. Mildew in the shower and stains in the toilet. "A fantastic stay at Chateau Damigny. Our hosts Vincent and Corinne were exceptional…friendly,welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

What an amazing hotel

"What a lovely hotel. It is beautiful, cozy and clean. We just loved. Staff members were great and location is the best! Our room smelled so good. We are very pick about hotels, but this stay was just perfect!!"

"We had a very nice 2 night stay. Our room was a mini suite for 3 of us. Queen bed and a single bed that had its own space. The bathroom was quite large with a walk-in shower, no tub and all quite new. I liked that the floor was a laminate throughout the suite. The beds were quite comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a nice feature but did not use due to weather. Our daughter did sit in the hot tub which was warm and could have been a little hotter but not a big deal. The location was perfect for walking around Bayeux. The staff were very accommodating and helpful in getting us a taxi when needed and storing our bags on day of check out. We did not use the spa but did have the breakfast one morning and it was good. Lovely stay!"
