"This was my fifth stay at the hotel, which I enjoyed as usual. I would recommend it highly and the fact that I am a "regular" speaks volumes. If I were to be critical there are two comments that I would make:- 1. The reception staff did their job competently, but seemed to lack their usual friendliness. 2. There were two large functions taking place, which meant that I had to eat in the bar. I did not have a problem with that, but I imagine that there were a lot of temporary staff working on that night. The lady behind the bar lacked a certain amount of charm. As always I wonder why people work in the hospitality trade, if they do not know how to be hospitable."
