We started with a double bunk bed, which we decided was not good for us, so we requested full double bed. The staff said we'd need to move twice, but found us options. Staff kept working on it; found a room where we only moved once. Very happy with that.

Really friendly housekeeping and staff! The hotel room is small but this is expected since it’s in Tokyo. Not extremely near any station - it’s about a 10-15 minutes walk from the Asakusa station. I did enjoy walking through the Sensoji temple whenever i walked back to the hotel since it’s also beautiful at night. Asakusa is pretty distant from Shibuya and Shinjuku (and you’ll have to factor in the walk back to the hotel) so if you think you’re going to do quite a bit of shopping, choose a hotel closer to that area. Otherwise, i think this is a pretty good hotel!

The room was beautiful, very cool style with wood floor and shoji window coverings. Nice beds and bathroom as well. Only downside was ambient light at the foyer that we could not figure out how to turn off at night.

First off, let me say that I forgot something at the hotel after checking out, and they kept it safe till my friend in Tokyo could pick it up for me. I'm very thankful for that honesty and kindness! The room was cozy and compact as expected for this price range in Asakusa. If you want more room to open up your suitcase, then upgrade to a larger room. For me, I was able to manage taking out a few things for the day. Of course, such a small space means that previous guests have scuffed up some of the walls when opening luggage or moving stuff around. My only critique would be that the corners of the room, especially near the entrance area was dusty and needed a good vacuum along the edges. Other than that, the room was clean and up to the standards of hotels in Japan. The room had a comfortable bed, the usual kettle with tea bags, and free bottles of water. Front desk people were kind, and they reminded me that there was a beverage machine for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc., along with toiletries by the elevator if needed. Saw Biscoff cookies at the front desk if you needed something sweet before heading up to the room. Would definitely stay again and book a slightly larger room. Thank you for the hospitality!

Check in was quick and easy. The staff were very friendly. The room was compact but enough to meet our needs and store our luggage. The facilities were good - excellent shower. Did laundry whilst there and very easy to follow instructions. Check was simple and the staff allowed us to leave our bags for the day

Staff was very nice and efficient at check in, bed and room size was good, bathroom facilities new and unique. I appreciate the little mini fridge. The point lost is in cleanliness is because, the walls in the room could use washing because there are coffee and drink drips on them which makes it look dirty, and the same for the Elevator doors, they need to be wiped clean and disinfected.

The guy sit for front desk showed attitude to me when I tried to discard the empty bottles to the recycle bin in the lobby. The hotel room is smallest I stayed in Japan, not cleaned very well either. Will not go back.

Not recommended this hotel. The service was so bad that when we ran out of the tissue/toilet paper, the staff never refill it when doing the room cleaning, have to call to front desk to request. The staff can barely speak english thus have had a hard time communicate with them. Water bottles are provided one each day, cant request for more. Quite a bit of distance from the station to hotel, it takes about 10 - 15 minutes. Would not choose to stay here again.

Spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful service (especially for people who don’t speak Japanese). Love the location - a minute or two walk from big streets, but quiet (easy to sleep at night). Many, many small restaurants and bars that are only a few minutes away - or less. Note: if you’re a couple - or someone with large luggage & lots of clothes, get the larger room. You will not be happy in a small room! Limited space for luggage & clothes.

This hotel was great! It was clean, safe and had excellent staff and customer service! The rooms are a bit small but honestly it’s all you need. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They also are attached to a great bakery and are a short walk to Senso-ji which is beautiful.

Hotel was amazing. Great price but extremely clean. I am a clean freak and typically don't enjoy staying in hotels. In fact, most times I dread going back to the hotel after a long day. This hotel made me feel very comfortable and I feel good going back after a long day. Location was very convenient and I was able to get to where I wanted to go by subway within 20-30 minutes typically. Lots of amazing local shops near by and great food. Only small issue I had was that the AC had a weird ordor when I turn it on. Not sure if it was an isolated incident. Management might want to look into it. However, the above does not deter me from going back to this hotel on my next trip to Japan.
