Fantastic hotel, breakfast was great for kids and adults. Very walkable area, Staff was super friendly and assisted with all requests including arranging baggage forwarding to airport. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

An incredibly convenient location, eminently walkable, and excellent transport links to almost anywhere in Tokyo. It should be noted that the staff, particularly at check in are a little inconsistent, and after a long flight this can be frustrating: I left bags because my room wasn’t ready, and it took them awhile to locate them when I returned; I was asked to pay for the room twice because upon my return someone could not find my original receipt (the staff member had their elbow on it); I was told I had to pay a half day rate to check in early then I was told it was fine. Beyond that, rooms were clean, well appointed and otherwise good.

The hotel was very close to the Shibuya cross and Shibuya Station. It was at the center of everything Shibuya has to offer. Very convenient and fun. The room was of decent size and the bathroom was very clean and well functionally designed. Hotel was right across the street from a 24-hr Don Quijote store which was convenient.

A wonderful oasis in the heart of Shibuya. Easy access to the subway and walking distance to so many sites. Having the 24 hour Don Quixote right across the street was dangerous but fun. Tip, if you want to avoid walking through the scramble to get to the train, use the passage accessible at Shibuya 109. We will definitely come again.

The only downside to the hotel was that the room was hot and, even though we set the thermostat to 17C, it really never cooled down. Otherwise, the room, staff and location were very nice.

New property with highly functional rooms that are relatively small. We had two high floor corner rooms with great views. Staff were always helpful. Excellent breakfast in terms of variety and quality. On previous trips Ive always stayed in Ginza. This time we figured Shibuya would be more entertaining for our teens and it proved to be so.

Great location - nice new hotel with comfortable amenities. Rooms a little on the small size for families. Very pricey during Sakura season but walking distance to everything we needed so saved on transportation.

This was my first time staying in Shibuya, so I had mentally prepared myself for the craziness and honestly I’m very happy with Hotel Indigo. Being a new hotel the building and rooms were super nice, the layout was immaculate and the bathrooms were really spacious. Prime location if you stay in Shinjuku, highly recommend if you can afford the price!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Shibuya with exceptional views. Unfortunately, the largest available rooms were not suitable for a family of four, despite the Expedia description. The staff, however, was exceptionally professional and accommodating.

New property and right in the heart of Shibuya. Some might say it might be too noisy outside but we slept just fine here. Staff & service were helpful with transportation like taxi and the rooms were a lot bigger than we thought. Loved the property condition as it’s new and definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed in during my trip in Japan.

Horrible experience. Construction Noise 7am to 6pm
We get to our room and there was a lot of noise, construction noise. there was a construction site under our window. Huge machinery breaking down concrete. I go to front desk and the manager, Ryuji Harada, his first response was “use ear plugs”!! Really? We paid so much money for this hotel and I’ve to use earplugs? He refused to switch our room. He said the other side is facing the street and it’s noisy with cars and tourists. I would’ve taking that instead of heavy machinery from 7am to about 6pm. We had booked for three nights. Couldn’t find any other decently priced hotel so we had to stay. Customer service was horrible. Location is the only good thing about this hotel but what good does it when there’s construction going on right next to the building. Will never recommend this place.

Great location in Shibuya
Lobby was disappointing. There was no “proper” chair in my room, only a couch with no proper back, so basically nowhere to comfortably sit except in bed. It was a bit odd. Overall a very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very clean, and in a fantastic part of Shibuya.

We had a really difficult time finding the entrance to Hotel Indigo coming from Shibuya Station. The street-level entrance is not well marked. Aside from that, and the small room size, we did enjoy our stay. The room was exceptionally clean! The staff were not the friendliest which surprised us compared to the other hotels we've stayed at in Japan. The woman working in the coffee shop on level 3 was also very rude. The hotel is conveniently located to Shibuya Station and a short walk to Harajuku. Shibuya is by no means our favorite area in Tokyo, but we did enjoy our stay.
