the basic room is super tiny, would definitely not recommend if you are travelling with two people carrying checked in luggages and your carry ons. bathroom is very small, but clean. the location is very nice though and it is walkable to all the main attractions in asakusa.

What an amazing place, cozy bathrooms and rooms. Perfect for stay and go. We used it for sleeping and showering. They offer all amenities for hygiene. Highly recommended.

Property was clean and modern. Close to transportation, attractions and restaurants. Only complaint is the beds would slide easily around on the floor which could be hazardous.

Everything is good until I have checked out and came back later before going to the airport to take a shower first. “Full price or you go elsewhere to finish the job.” I was going to pay but not a full price to clean myself nor am sure it was a legitimate request. Yet it will be greatly helpful to the customers if extra services is available at the time a customer really needs. Like airport in Hong Kong, they have this kind of service. On the whole it’s a very convenient place and I like it.

Conveniently located by the Nijo train station. Property is very clean and modern, with self check-in and check out kiosks available. Room was clean and super modern. There is a gendered public bath available to soak in. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a bar, and complementary coffee/tea. Thanks for having us!

I only rate this average due to the room and bathroom size which are average for Japan standards, which is small for North American standards. No wonder guests like to hang out in the lobby instead which is also a comfortable area. Good location to Tsukuba Express line and main shopping area in Asakusa. There's a great little jazz bar next to the hotel and having vending machines inside the hotel is very convenient. Beds we a bit stiff for me but overall comfortable.

Cute little hotel with unique rooms. I appreciated that we were able to have 2 rooms so that we could be comfortable as a family of 4. Though small, the rooms are thoughtfully laid out and designed. Friendly staff, quiet area and close to all that you need. As others mentioned, the beds are very firm (more than any other hotel we stayed at in Japan), but staff were quick to bring up a mat. Bathrooms are also very small and I could see them being troublesome if a guest required more space to maneuver.

Great stay in Tokyo and close to a lot of areas including sensoji temple. Would recommend if you’re looking for a pleasant stay. I would stay again if I’m ever back in Japan.

Upon entering Hotel Ann in the evening after a long international flight ready to get some rest there were no staff at the front desk, only a sign saying they would be back shortly with no indication on when, We waited almost an hour in the lobby for staff to come out so we could check in to the room before some previous guests had come in to collect their luggage and simply called out to which the staff immediately popped out from the room just behind the front desk. This was frustrating and unusual to say the least as every previous hotel in Japan we have been to always has someone at the front desk ready to check in and be ready to assist with guest requests as needed, during our two night stay we did not see anyone at the front in the morning, afternoon, or night even while guest continued to arrive until the morning of check out when I called for help at the front desk to return the room key. The room while clean was small but the bed was uncomfortably hard to the point of painful causing tossing and turning all night with few hours of sleep and almost to exhausted to go out to see the city. The location is okay but I wouldn't mind the longer train or bus ride if it means staying at a nicer hotel. I would not stay here again just because of the bed is hard as a rock, I have constant back pain issues and it was intensified by the bed by 3x at least.

Great place for a stay in Tokyo. Very quiet neighborhood most days and easy access to multiple different subway lines. Close to sensoji temple for some souvenir shopping and a lot of options for food. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Really close to Sensoji temple and markets. Staff are very nice. The only thing prevented me from giving 5 stars is I was in a corner unit and the wifi connection was barely there. I had to access it sitting in the lobby.

Only real annoyance was the bathroom door was opaque glass so using the restroom while somebody was in the room was uncomfortable. The Rooms and property are super clean and the well kept.

10/10 would stay again. Super clean and modern hotel, in an excellent location. Yes, the single room is small, but unless you plan on spending most of your day in the room, it's not an issue. Even so, the room is perfectly comfortable. Yes, the mattress is very firm, but it didn't keep me from sleeping.

The room was extremely small, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. However helpful staff - they gave us mattress toppers when we said the beds were hard. Quite far from central Tokyo - it takes about 40 minutes to Tokyo station.
